Firstly, I'd like to apologise for being away for so long. I've managed to scrounge a few minutes here and there to check up on all the new deviations (which have been awesome, btw), but have hardly had a minute to comment or write a new journal.

So what's been happening with you all? I've been run off my feet trying to get all these commissions out of the way so I can get back to drawing my own stuff, but for each one I complete, another two arise. Just finished one for my brother, had only 2 days to get it done and posted. Not quite sure how I managed it, but no one would really approach me for those two days. Guess I was a bit snappy .

In other interesting news, I found out some cool family history today. Apparently, my grandfather was quite the photographer in his time. My Nan and I got to talking about it today, and she gave me one of his old cameras and lenses to try out, see if it still works. It's a Praktica LTL 3, apparently top-of-the-range for its time. It's 31 years old, apparently, but is in mint condition, not a scratch on it. Came with a cool lens, too, and add-on flash. Going to get it checked out at the camera house tomorrow, get some film and take her for a test-drive . And to think, I've been into photography for a good 2 years now, and it's only today that anyone remembers that my grandfather once had the same passion. I can't wait to see his old slides. Gotta get me a slide projector .
